Midt Factoring was established in 1981
...by Egetæpper A/S. It was based on the provision of financing and financial services. In 1986 the first "full-service" factoring concept was introduced, which has since formed the basis for Midt Factoring's products and services.
As part of a long-term strategy, the business was purchased from Egetæpper A/S in 1988. Subsequently, Midt Factoring moved to Ikast, where it has retained its registered office ever since.
Strong growth and a high solvency ratio
From the mid-1990s onwards Midt Factoring has been growing rapidly, developing new products and building up new spheres of business.
As of mid 2003, the business has 100 employees and handles a turnover of several billion Danish kroner on behalf of its clients. Today Midt Factoring has its headquarters in Ikast, a sales office on the main Danish island of Zealand and a subsidiary in Iceland.
Midt Factoring is a member of the Coface Group, with presence in 65 countries a truly global player within the areas of credit insurance, receivables management, credit information and factoring. ebh bank a/s is a minority shareholder in Midt Factoring.
